Surfing boards
The logo playfully embodies the essence of karma, surfing culture, and a surfer’s laid-back, irreverent attitude toward danger. The imagery—a person eating a fish being eaten by a larger fish—reflects the idea of the natural cycle of give and take or "what goes around comes around," which aligns with karma’s philosophy. It also taps into the surfers’ dark humor about life’s risks, like the lurking threat of sharks, while highlighting their ability to laugh at the circle of life. At its core, it represents balance, respect for nature, and a cheeky acceptance of life’s unpredictability, all in a way that resonates with surfing's fun, rebellious spirit.

Smile, it's a win-win LOGO!

GoFIGR is an HR technology startup helping companies retain their best people by connecting employees' skills and aspirations with existing opportunities within the company. This helps companies find the right person for the job without having to hire externally while helping employees find their version of meaningful work where they get engaged and ultimately stay. So it's a win-win! FIGR is an acronym for Find (opportunities), Inspire (employees), Growth (in the business), and Retain (talents in the company). The customer told me that they liked to be seen as a smart, clever, and witty brand. My logo combines the letter F with a smiling face. Why not the letter G? Because the client wanted to emphasize the acronym FIGR. The smile is part of the lower arc of the F, and the upper line almost gives the face: a little witty, yet professional and trustworthy in its modern design language. It looks like someone who knows a smarter solution - just like GoFIGR does.
